WINGS, STINGS & CRAFTY THINGS: Wednesdays, June 18-July 24 at 11:00 or Thursdays at 2:00. For kids in grades K and up. Drop in program. Registration is not required. (No classes week of June 30-July 3)

LADY BUGS! presented by Susan Weber of Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio. Saturday, June 14 at 11:00. Preschool program. Registration is not required.

BUG MAGIC: Magician Paul Gerber presents the Magic Fly Trap, Hercules the Flea and much more! Wednesday, June 18 at 2:00. Family program. Registration is not required.

BUILD-A-BUG! June 16 - 28: Use your imagination to create your own special bug with everyday materials. Bring it to the Children’s Room to have it displayed throughout the summer. Bugs should be no larger than 8 x 10. Earn 15 minutes of FREE reading.

AKRON ZOO presents BUGS! Saturday, June 28 at 11:00. Registration is not required.

STEEL DRUM CELEBRATION! Wednesday, July 2 at 7:00. Bring your chairs, blankets and a picnic to enjoy this very special OUTDOOR program jammin’ to the Steel Drums of the University of Akron. In case of rain program will be held in the Library.

BEE OUR GUEST @ THE MOVIES: Mondays, June 16, 23 & 30, July 7, 14, 21 at 2:00 or Fridays, June 20 & 27, July 11, 18 & 25 at 10:00.

STEVENS PUPPETS PRESENT ALADDIN! Tuesday, July 8 at 2:00. Family program. Registration is not required.

IGUANA ROB: Wednesday, July 16 at 2:00. Critters from the smallest to the LARGEST including several fascinating bugs. Family program. Registration is not required.

ALL AFLUTTER BUTTERFLIES presents a hands-on program Wednesday, July 23 at 2:00. Registration begins July 12. For preschoolers and early school age children. Throughout the week prior to this program there will be a large live butterfly exhibit in the library.

IDENTIKID: Tuesday, August 12 from 4:00-7:00 and Thursday, August 14 from 11:00-3:00. Have your child ID’d before school starts. Presented by Western & Southern Financial Group.
