AHFS Consumer Medication Information

AHFS Consumer Medication Information is a source patient drug information written for consumers. It includes “How To” information for administering different types of medications such as eye drops and inhalers. It also identifies medications that have the potential for adverse events when used by elderly patients.

Ancestry Library Edition includes the digitized images of the U.S. Federal Census from 1790 forward, the American Genealogical Biographical Index, Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, court records, slave narratives, reference sources, and more.The Library Edition is different from a personal subscription you can get to Ancestry.com. Antiques & Art Reference Provided by Cuyahoga Falls Library
Use this database of the sale prices of antiques at U.S. auction houses to determine the value of your antiques. With approximately 1,300 categories and related types, the Prices 4 Antiques database is increasingly used in place of the large number of reference books necessary to gain a comparable range and level of knowledge. Every record in the database has at least one full-color photograph; many records have notes about the auctions, and some have an individually researched reference note providing further information about the item.

ART Collection
The OhioLINK Art and Architecture images database is a collection of over 54,000 digital images from AMICO (the Art Museum Image Consortium) as well as contributions from OhioLINK institutions. Some AMICO images are accompanied by audio or video files, such as an audio tour. The collections highlight the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms. Cultures and time periods represented range from contemporary art, Native American and Inuit art, to ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian works, along with Japanese and Chinese works.

AtoZdatabases Provided by Cuyahoga Falls Library
This is a reference and marketing database that includes 30 million business profiles and 220 million residents. It is ideal for sales leads, mailing lists, market research, employment opportunities, and finding friends and relatives. AtoZdatabases is updated biweekly. You can email, print, or download results. 250 downloads are allowed per search. Download the app for Apple devices (Android coming soon). Auto Repair Reference Center Provided by Cuyahoga Falls Library
Find complete automotive repair information for domestic and imported vehicles from most major manufacturers. Instructions and diagrams cover repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance needs for your car or truck. The database includes approximately 25,000 vehicles from 1954 to present.


Biography Reference Bank
One of the largest biographical databases available, H.W. Wilson's Biography Reference Bank contains biographical articles on over 550,000 people collected from dozens of reference sources. Articles are substantive too, with many averaging 1500-2000 words. Additionally, there are over 36,000 images and links to magazine and journal articles. Advanced searches allow for searching by profession, gender, place of origin as well as birth and death dates.

Business Source Premier
 Business Source Premier from EBSCOhost provides indexing and full text of articles from over 2,800 scholarly journals and business periodicals covering management, international business, accounting, finance, economics, banking, marketing, and other business-related topics. Search for specific companies or industries, or by subject or keyword to find national and international news in both current and historical articles going as far back as 1965. Includes Datamonitor Company Profiles.


Communication & Mass Media Complete
Communication and Mass Media Complete (CMMC) from EBSCOhost offers indexing, abstracts, and select full-text search results from major journals in the field of communication. Combining indexing from CommSearch with the Mass Media Articles Index, the CMMC is the perfect tool for finding academic research on communication, communication theory, mass media, and related areas of study.

Computer Source
Keep up with the latest information and current trends in high technology. Computer Source from EBSCOhost provides researchers with abstracts and indexing for over 350 periodicals in computer science and related fields, plus full text for over 300 periodicals covering computers, telecommunications, electronics, and the Internet. Full text dates as far back as 1985 for selected periodicals. Search by author, title subject, periodical name, or keyword.

Consumer Health Complete
Get information about depression, heart disease, stroke, and many other issues, as well as information on drugs, herbs, and alternative treatments. Choose from fact sheets and pamphlets, articles, specialized encyclopedias and reference books, images and diagrams, and videos -- all easy to read and written for consumers.

ConsumerReports.org Provided by Cuyahoga Falls Library
ConsumerReports.org provides Web-based access through EBSCOhost to the most current Consumer Reports ratings available. In addition to the popular side-by-side product rankings and ratings, ConsumerReports.org also offers links to blogs, forums and videos to help consumers make better purchasing decisions on all the products they are shopping for. Additionally, ConsumerReports.org now provides access to "Cars Best Deal Plus" a tool that offers dealer pricing info so you can negotiate the best car price possible. The easy searching and navigation make finding the right information quick and easy.


ERIC
ERIC®, the Educational Resource Information Center, is a national information system supported by the U.S. Department of Education, the National Library of Education, and the Office of Educational Research and Improvement provided by EBSCOhost. It provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. ERIC provides full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1000 educational and education-related journals. ERIC is now a full text database.

GreenFILE from EBSCOhost is a specialized magazine index that focuses on how humans impact the environment. It contains a selection of scholarly journals, general interest titles, and government reports (many in full-text). Combining the related disciplines of agriculture, education, law, health, and technology, GreenFILE is the perfect database for environmental studies and issues.


Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
This database provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition also features the AHFS Consumer Medication Information.

Humanities International Index
This comprehensive database from EBSCOhost covers journals, books and other important reference sources in the humanities from around the world with focus on literary, scholarly and creative thought. Indexing and abstracting for over 1,700 journals is available containing more than 1.5 million records. Backfile dates to 1925.

MAS Ultra - School Edition

Provides full text for over 515 general interest and current events magazines from EBSCOhost. It provides full text from over 515 periodicals covering general reference, health, science, and other areas.

MasterFILE Premier
 MasterFILE Premier provides full text for nearly 1,850 general reference, business, consumer health, general science, and multicultural periodicals. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for over 2,810 periodicals. Full text backfiles go back to January 1990, while indexing and abstract backfiles go back as January 1984. Includes a dictionary and image collection of 107,135 photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily on EBSCOhost.

MEDLINE
MEDLINE provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE allows users to search abstracts from over 4,600 current biomedical journals.

Middle Search Plus
Middle Search Plus from EBSCOhost provides full text for nearly 120 magazines covering general topics appropriate for middle and jr. high school students. It provides full text from 80 general reference, health and science magazines. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for over 130 magazines. This database includes 2,000 charts, tables and graphs converted to ASCII text; full text of 37 reference books; full text of hundreds of pamphlets; over 5,000 full text Magill Book Reviews; Funk & Wagnall’s New Encyclopedia; coverage of the CIA World Factbook; Essential Documents in American History and EBSCO’s Encyclopedia of Animals. Full text backfiles go as far back as January of 1990, while indexing and abstract backfiles go as far back as January of 1984. This database is updated weekly on EBSCOhost.

Morningstar Provided by Cuyahoga Falls Library
Morningstar Investment Research Center combines in one convenient database all the stock, fund, industry and ETF information necessary for in-depth research and smart portfolio construction. It is a one-stop-shop for screening and report building tools including extensive help and education materials.


Newspaper Source 

 Provides selected full text for 159 regional U.S. newspapers, eighteen international newspapers, six newswires, and nine newspaper columns, The Christian Science Monitor, and The Los Angeles Times (for a total of 194 full text newspapers and other sources). Some sources are available in cover-to-cover full text. Indexing for four national newspapers is also included. Check the source list on EBSCOhost for details.

ReferenceUSA Provided by Cuyahoga Falls Library
 Excellent for ready-reference business searches and compiling lists of companies, this national directory allows you to look up a company by name, line of business, size or geography. Data provided for each company include contact information, annual sales, SIC codes, lines of business, employees, credit rating, toll free number and ticker symbol. There is also a residential database for looking up individuals.

Regional Business News
This database from EBSCOhost provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications. Regional Business News incorporates coverage of 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. This database is updated on a daily basis.

Religion and Philosophy Collection
The Religion & Philosophy Collection from EBSCOhost is a comprehensive database covering such topics as world religions, major denominations, biblical studies, religious history, epistemology, political philosophy, philosophy of language, moral philosophy and the history of philosophy.
