This City Reads


Please join us on February 11 from 10:30 to 11:00 as we participate in the sixth annual “This City Reads” Community Reading Day. Last year we counted 85,685 people reading AT THE SAME TIME in the Akron area. Anyone including individuals, businesses, hospitals, government organizations, churches, daycares and schools are being invited to participate. The goal is to count 100,000 people reading AT THE SAME TIME. The Cuyahoga Falls Library will serve as an official reading site. Simply arrive before 10:30 and choose something from our collection to read, or bring your own reading material. Anyone who participates from another site in Cuyahoga Falls may call Joyce Bigam at the library to be counted on the day of the event. Reading Pledge Forms are available at the library. Pick one up today or check www.thiscityreads.org to print the form on line.
