Read to the Dogs

On the four Saturdays in February children are invited to read to certified therapy dogs from 2:00 - 3:00. Each child will be assigned a 15 minute reading slot on a first come-first served basis. This program targets grades 1 - 3, however younger or older children can sit in with their sibling on the reading session, or make it a family reading time with one of these special four legged friends. A "pawtographed" book will be available as a memento to participants during the session on Saturday, February 25. This season two NEW DOGS, Ellie and Lucy, will be joining our furry friends Maddie, Ciolo, Isaac, Kate and Brody!

Preschool Fair

This is the time of year to start thinking about preschool for the little ones for fall. Stop by the Library's lower level anytime Monday, January 23 - Thursday, January 26 to browse the annual Preschool Fair displays for information about local preschools.

Winter Story Times

WINTER SESSION: January 17 - March 8. Registration begins Saturday, January 7. Registration is required for story times on a first-come, first-served basis by phone or walk in. All story time programs are free.

ROCK-A-BYE TALES: Monday, Tuesday or Thursday @ 9:30. Babies & toddlers ages 6 months - 2 years old, along with a caregiver, are invited to share this story time together.

READ TO ME for 2's & 3's: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday @ 10:15. Enjoy this special story time for 2 & 3 year olds, accompanied by a caregiver.

STORIES ALIVE for 4's & 5's: Tuesday (NEW day/time) or Thursday @ 1:30. Enjoy this special story time for 4 & 5 year olds, accompanied by a caregiver.

FAMILY STORY TIME: Tuesday @ 6:30. Children & their caregivers are invited to attend this weekly evening story time. For children of all ages. *Registration for this story time is not required*

Homeschool Hub

January 20, February 17, March 23 & April 20 from 10:00 - 11:00. This monthly meeting is for homeschool parents or those who are considering it. Join the group for coffee, conversation & idea sharing. Children are welcome, however older children may need to be available as caretakers of younger ones in the Library's Preschool Play Area. Registration is not required.

Homeschool Art

This monthly Art Class for homeschool children will be taught by local artist Susan Mencini. Class size is limited and registration is required beginning January 7.

Ages 5 - 8: January 20, February 17, March 23 & April 20, 10:00 - 11:00 (CLASS IS FILLED)
Ages 9 - 12: January 27, February 24, March 30 & April 27, 10:00 - 11:30 (OPENINGS ARE STILL AVAILABLE)
