What does it take to get a library card?
One form of identification with name and current address is required to obtain a card. Cards issued to persons under the age of 15 require a parent or guardian's signature.
If you do not have something with your current address on it, you will be allowed to check out 2 items, and we will mail you your library card. Once you receive it, you may bring it in and have full borrowing privileges instated. (Back to Top)
Does it cost anything to get a library card?
Library cards are free to residents of Ohio. There is a $1.00 to have it replaced. (Back to Top)
Do you have public Internet access?

How much are your fines?
Fines for videos and DVD's are fifty cents per day, per item. Fines for all other materials are five cents per day, per item. (Back to Top)
How many items can I check out?
You may check out eight DVD's, 26 magazines, 20 VHS movies, 20 CD's, and as many books as you want, up to a limit of 100 items. The limit on children's CD-ROM's is 2 per family. (Back to Top)
What are the loan periods for different kinds of materials?
Books, magazines, CD's, and cassettes check out for 14 days; educational videos check out for 7 days; and entertainment videos/DVD's check out for 4 days.(Back to Top)
Can I check my patron record at home?
Yes, you can. Go to http://www.cuyahogafallslibrary.org/myaccount then type in your name and barcode (from the back of your library card). This will bring up a list of all the items you have checked out. (Back to Top)
Can I renew my books from home?
You may renew you books over the Internet (http://www.cuyahogafallslibrary.org/myaccount) or you may renew your books over the phone (330)928-2117. Please have your library card ready. (Back to Top)
Can my child check out videos?
Library users under 15 may check out videos and DVD's from the Children's Department. Anyone 15 and older may check out videos from the adult section. (Back to Top)

New Fiction and New Non Fiction are located next to the 3rd Street Entrance. (Back to Top)
What can I put in the book drop?
All materials (books, magazines, audio cassettes, cassette kits, DVD's, videos and CD's) may be placed in the book drop. (Back to Top)
Do you have CD-ROM software for use on a home computer?
We have children's software on CD-ROM that you can check out.(Back to Top)
Do you have copy machines? How much per copy?
We have 2 copiers, one on each floor; it is ten cents for each copy. (Back to Top)
Can I make color copies?
We have a color printer, but not a color copier. Making color print-outs from the Internet costs 25¢. Regular black and white print-outs are 5¢ per page. (Back to Top)
Can I use my laptop to connect to the Internet?
