Teen Tech Week

Get ready to Geek Out @ your library, because Teen Tech Week is almost here.  During the week of March 4 - March 10, teens are invited to get their geek on at Cuyahoga Falls Library. 

QR CODE SCAVENGER HUNT:   March 4 - March 10.  Stop by the Adult Services desk to pick up your directions, as well as your first clue in this geeky library scavenger hunt.  All participants in this scavenger hunt with completed entries will be entered into a prize drawing.

Wii TEENS:  March 7, from 3:30 - 5:00.  Come play MarioKart, Wii Sports and more.  Registration is required.  Talk to Jen, the new Teen Librarian, in the Adult Services Department to sign up.

SEARCH ENGINE BATTLES:  March 10, from 2:00 - 3:00.  Come and prove your internet search skills against Jen, the Teen Librarian.  If you are first to answer a question, you will be rewarded...with food.  In round two, we will find out who can come up with the craziest auto-fill answers.  Registration is requested.

FOOTLOOSE DANCE CONTEST:  March 11 @ 1:00.  Think you have what it takes to cut footloose?  Prove yourself at the Footloose dance contest, and you could win a copy of the newly released Footloose DVD.  Call the library to register for this event.

Manga: New Web Pages and Lists

Manga is still on the same shelves, but online it has a new home: It now has its own web page, with online resources and lists of recently-added, most popular now, and most popular this year graphic novels.

Anime Club

Teens are invited to drop in and check out the Anime Club. If you are interested or have any questions, please e-mail Jennifer at animeclub@CuyahogaFallsLibrary.org or call her at 330-928-2117. (Cuyahoga Cuyahoga Falls Library requests parental permission for all young adults under 15 to view Anime films that are recommended for ages 16 and up.
